On April 17th Malawi held a press conference to raise awareness on the six EFA Goals and to show how Malawi is doing. They already have received coverage in the media. See this link.

So far the coalition has already made a TV documentary and Radio jingles. They have also printed T- shirts, banners, posters and brochures.
A national launch will take place on April 20 in Ntchisi District with a total number of 1,500 children are expected to take part in the big chain.. The guest of honour will be the Minister of Education Hon. Anna Kachikho, MP. Among other people expected at the launch include politicians, Ministry of education officials, traditional leaders, Members of the Malawian coalition CSCQBE and other CSOs, the media, parents, teachers and pupils. Ntchisi District was selected as the venue of the launch because it has the highest high poverty, illiteracy, absenteeism and drop out rates. Other activities planned include; speeches, songs, dances, poems, displays, children press conference with messages on the theme "Education as a human right". After the national launch there will be district launches in 14 districts, where the coalition has district networks as part of the campaign so that the message can reach as many people as possible especially in the communities.
