Member Organisations and Coalitions

"Individual NGOs have made remarkable contributions towards education in many countries, and they have now joined in a Global Campaign for Education. Today, I say to the NGO community: we cannot win the battle... without your expertise, your energy, and your capacity for action."

The Global Campaign for Education's membership is open to national coalitions and international and regional organizations that that advocate for quality public Education for All and subscribe to the GCE's Principles and Demands and agree to uphold our constitution.

Only fully paid-up member organisations and coalitions are able to participate fully in the Global Campaign for Education's World Assembly, vote for the future policy positions of the Global Campaign for Education, stand for election to the management structures of GCE, use the GCE logo on materials, and are eligible to apply for funding for Action Week and other advocacy activities.

The Global Campaign for Education believes in uniting civil society in the common pursuit of the right to education - therefore only one education coalition is recognised in each country. Individuals, national organisations or trade unions are encouraged to join their national education coalition, but are not eligible to join the Global Campaign for Education as an international member.
