What happened in Action Week 2008? The Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Kyrgyzstan (TUESWK) Central Committee translated the publicity poster and flyers into Kyrgyz and Russian. Politicians and union members visited schools in six regions across the country and took part in the World’s Biggest Lesson. In Bishkek the Central Committee of Trade Unions organised the World’s Biggest Lesson in which over 100 politicians participated. The events of Global Action Week were reported in the mass media and in the union’s newspaper.
