What happened in Action Week 2008?
A radio discussion about ‘Education to End Exclusion’, with the Prime Minster and Secretary for Education was the platform for the launch of Action Week in Papua New Guinea. The Head of State and Governor General, Grand Chief Sir Paulias Matane and his wife Lady Kaludia took part in the World's Biggest Lesson in two rural schools Porebada Primary School and Porebada Elemantary School where there were more than a thousand school children participating. Students taught the lesson to school teachers and other community members, the ward Councillor, Board Chairman, Head Teacher of Red Scar High School and neighbouring schools and many other dignified guests took part.
