What happened in Action Week 2008?
Children from Konopicka primary school in Janowice joined the rest of the world to be part of the World’s Biggest Lesson on 23 rd April. They compiled letters and photos with different descriptions on the state of education in the world and various other works by pupils and sent them to Gordon Brown in Great Britain. Their aim was to ensure that Mr Brown takes their message to the G8 in Japan. The children talked about how education is important and crucial for one’s future and that those children without an opportunity to go to school were missing out. We have also realized how much we miss not going to school. Children who took part in the biggest lesson were: Agnieszka Wojtyła, Dariusz Trzybiński, Martyna Wala, Teresa Woźniak, Marlena Mruczek, Małgorzata Bogusz, Jakub Olejak, Patrick Wróbel, Monika Mędrala, Mateusz Ochman, Wojciech Chromik, Magdalena Niemczyk,Dominika Drążyk, Paulina Gajda, Kinga Kampczyk, Damian Mędrala, Krystian Góra and Michalina Mruczek and all pupils of the fourth, the fifth and the sixth class.
