Changes to the FTI are taking place this year. It is expected that a chair for the Steering Committee and the trust fund committees will be elected to take office by July 2009. A new Head of the FTI Secretariat will also be selected to take office by July 2009. A new deputy head, Ms Linda English, is joining the secretariat in February, from the World Bank.
