Feb 2010 The National Coalition for Education (NCE) is launching a campaign this month to fight for 6 percent of GDP to be allocated to education, The Hindu news publication has reported. The weeklong campaign will start from 17 February in New Delhi whereby children from eight Indian states will march along the Parliament Street with 100 teachers, parliamentarians and representatives of civil society organizations. Additionally, the children will knock the doors of the parliamentarians early in morning, to give them a wakeup-call about their responsibilities.
