More than 7.5 million children, adults, teachers and campaigners took part in the Global Campaign for Education's "World's Biggest Lesson". ...

Students from the Bulgarian school of Sapareva Bania town countdown the days to the Biggest Lesson and mount a model of a school building in order to express their contribution to the Biggest Lesson. See the pictures here

Over 2000 students from 20 schools in the regions of Bulgaria are taking action to be part of the World’s Biggest Lesson. Pupils in SAPAREVA BAnia are so eager for the Lesson that they have launched a countdown process dubbed “X Days to the World’s Biggest Lesson”. Mayor of the largest municipality in Bulgaria, Kiril Yordanov will be interviewed on quality education by students on a radio show.


Plans are now underway for the World's Biggest Lesson. The coalition in Bulgaria has posted plans and events on these two websites

The campaign is reaching out to more individuals than ever before in Bulgaria, with links from all websites of the member organizations, and a newsletter now going to 1,000 schools. The World’s Biggest Lesson film, posters and stickers – depicting images of education as a human right - are being distributed to the schools taking part in the campaign.
