What's happening in 2008:
The big event in Mauritius will centre on creating awareness for education to marginalized adolescents. Schools and public institutions will be sensitized and we are expecting to enlist the support of the municipal councilors. Meetings are being held accordingly with leaders and staff of DCI-Mauritius. The event will be a rally where marginalized adolescents, their parents, community leaders including religious people and a few MPs' will be asked to walk for the cause of education for this category of young people. DCI-Mauritius and its partner organizations are expecting around 1,000 people at this rally.
