CAIRO, NOVEMBER 22ND, GCE PRESIDENT KAILASH SATYARTHI ADDRESSES HIGH-LEVEL GROUP ON EDUCATION FOR ALL
Ministers gathered once again in November to discuss progress towards the achievement of EFA. While some good news is evident, with the number of children out-of-school dropping by 37 million over the last five years, huge challenges remain. In the opening sessions, Kailash Satyarthi spoke powerfully and movingly of the children and adults left behind, and drew attention to the urgent need for a massive push by governments in the remaining years to 2015.
